KY is a rising junior at Macalester College double majoring in Applied Math & Statistics and Economics. He is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, watching movies and collecting playing cards.
Last summer, he worked with the Global Accelerator Program team at the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) which aims to accelerate 60 startups to be investment ready in 4 months. One of the tasks he was given was to create survey forms for 60 startups to gauge the quality of speakers. He learned to collect, compile and analyze the data given. Soon, he realized how useful and powerful data analytics could be to a business.
He is working for Bigfoot Analytics because he admired Dennis’ emphasis on creating a story and answering questions of businesses through data and analytics.
KY is working through a program at Macalester College called MacNest. It is an amazing opportunity for local Twin Cities startups to get support for early ventures. Check it out if you are interested!
